Faye Dunaway in 'Bonnie & Clyde' Part II
If you've seen Bonnie & Clyde, you'll know that there is another Faye Dunaway outfit dying to be re-created. Consisting of a certain gold necklace, lacy pink top, and brimmed hat; an almost Un-Bonnie look. It's the only real color in her outfits' color scheme. The rest being neutrals and colors so washed-out they might as well be beige.
The pastel pink top is the closest thing to a 'sexy' outfit Bonnie has worn or will wear. This is the night she will try and seduce Clyde. Pink represents Bonnie's femininity. She's at her peak and she's echoing confidence. This outfit is the completion of her transformation into a fearless, powerful woman and bank robber. An equal to Clyde. When she tilts her hat and looks at herself in the mirror, we know she's changed. There is no going back.
Shake out your hair, adjust your jewels, and whip on a cat eye to begin this Easter Egg look:
The three key pieces to this look are:
Gold Layered Chain/Coin Necklace. You can always just buy a necklace of many chains strung together or you can get creative and layer up your own necklaces. I always suggest the latter. I used a chain headpiece and wrapped it around my neck. Look for many gold necklaces at different lengths and layer them on your neck. Adjust accordingly. The coin or charm aspect is another thing to consider when picking them out.
Beret or Brimmed Hat. I just used the same beret from the previous look. In the film, she wears a tan small brimmed hat, tilted on her head. The brim's length shouldn't be longer than your finger. You must adjust in the mirror like she does, to get the perfect angle.
Pink Lacy Lingerie-esque Top. Look in the lingerie, cami, and sleeveless sections. Go for pastels. Look for detailing around the top: lace, stitching, designs. Don't get something plain. These delicate details in the fabric bring out the feminine touches of the look. Don't be afraid of sheer, silk, and lace fabrics for this style they are your best friends for this style.
