What Even Is This?

       If you’re anything like me (a fashion obsessed film grad), you watch movies and think, “If I can’t have that outfit, there’s no hope left in the world.” A little dramatic, yes, but clothes can invoke strong emotions.

Well, what if I told you, I can show you how to get that outfit while staying in the double digits, price-wise?

You’d laugh in my face, you say? 

It’s true. By using the ancient art of thrift and DIY technologies, you can turn your mind into Cher’s digital doll Program in Clueless. I will help you become a thrifting champion and recreate any look you want. We will focus on vintage films (00s and earlier): some underrated and foreign, but all with killer clothes. 

The Game Goes:

We/I will watch a movie and find THE outfit to recreate. I’ll give you a little bio on the film and how the costumes interact with the themes of the movie. I’ll break down the outfit and tell you what to look for while thrifting. Then, I’ll show my ‘street-style’ version of the outfit using thrifted and DIY’d clothing. (I’ll credit where I get everything and how much it cost, but some things I already own or don’t remember the price, so I will estimate) Then, I’ll give a total cost and send you on your way to style the look yourself.
